This course is designed to kick-start your professional development in this regard. It will introduce you to the key areas of business you need to know about in the competitive marketplace, such as finances, operations and marketing.

Covering leadership and strategic thinking, this course will help you be more efficient and productive in your family law practice, whatever the size of the firm.

The course trainers will share their hands-on experience about the business of family law, providing you with practical insights, such as the art of billing and structuring how you charge for work, the role of fixed fees, how to keep your overheads under control, and setting realistic targets for fee income and recovery.

Can your business branch out into new services? Is there scope to develop how you work with third-party providers? How can you network and market your practice more productively in the areas you want to expand? It will also get you thinking about the role of active management and being a partner.
