"Can I Take My Teddy?"

We are delighted to offer this new and exciting course which will explore in depth the needs of children when their parents separate. The day will focus on the outcomes and recommendations of current research in this area and offer practitioners a framework and guidance for supporting parents during this challenging transition.

This course aims to increase your knowledge about child related issues following separation and to increase your confidence when supporting your clients with their parental disputes. The day will comprise presentations, small group discussions, child and parent focused exercises and role plays which are aimed at mediators although would be of benefit for any practitioner (solicitors and collaborative lawyers) working with parents post separation.
