National YRes Conference 2019


Resolution is delighted to announce the second National YRes Conference, for members with up to 10 years PQE, following on from the sell-out inaugural conference in 2017.

The theme of the day will be Good for business Good for You, and will centre around your wellbeing and professional development. We have included a wide variety of content to support you, your work and your career.

Much is known about the relationship between wellbeing and productivity, but it is rare that we, as practitioners, devote specific attention to taking care of ourselves, even though there is clear evidence that it can actually improve our practice and increase profits. In this session you will explore what practical steps that you can take to improve your own practices that will lead to a better experience for you, your clients and your business.

Together you will weigh up the pros and cons of out of court settlements in the year 2030, assuming there is no family court, drawing on what you learned in the earlier sessions to help you gain a better sense of the type of practice you are likely to excel in, if traditional litigation no longer exists. In this session you will explore a variety of dispute resolution options and learn how link the right processes to the right clients and cases, assessing and evaluating a scenario at an early stage with the help of an expert panel who will share with you their passion for their chosen way of working in a modern family law era.We are pleased have a panel discussion featuring an impressive line-up of practitioners from across the sector.
