“Companies and Family Law: common problems, Tips and Pitfalls” – Frank Feehan QC (1KBW)

Frank will talk about a range of topics where companies and company law intersect with financial remedy proceedings in the Family Court. Included will be sections on pre-marriage value and the springboard effect, valuation, the potential importance of shareholder agreements, enforcement and asset recovery, emergency procedures, and the question of transfer from the Chancery Division or companies court to the Family Court.

“Pensions on Divorce Expert Reports – New Guidance from Pensions Advisory Group” – Kate Routledge (George Mathieson Consulting)

Kate will deliver a brief summary of the issues facing practitioners with regard to pensions, the findings of the Pensions Advisory Group (PAG) and some suggested approaches to expert reports.
