Family Justice Young Peoples' Board is looking for new members

The Family Justice Young People’s Board (FJYPB) is a pioneering group, established by Cafcass that works to ensure that policies, initiatives and the future of the Family Justice System remains focussed on children and young people.

The Board is made up of young people, and they are currently recruiting more children and young people from the age of 7 years who have had direct experience with family separation and the family court process. The FJYPB offers children and young people excellent opportunities including meeting with judges and politicians, training professionals, inspections of offices, feeding back on changes in policies and processes as well as good social opportunities with other children and young people. The deadline to apply is Friday 31 October 2014. If you know any children or young people who might be suitable to join the FYYPB, please share the advert with them and assist them if necessary to complete and return the application form by the deadline.
