LALY Winners 2013

Resolution is pleased to announce that Nadia Salam from GT Stewart Solicitors, has won Legal Aid Newcomer of the Year, at the prestigious Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards, held last night at the Globe Theatre in London. Nadia also sits on the Resolution Legal Aid Committee, who she thanked for their support.

Congratulations also to Makin Dixon who scooped Legal Aid Firm of the Year Award. Caroline Makin who is a member of the Resolution Legal Aid Committee, collected the award on behalf of the firm.

The organisation is also delighted that two other finalists in the Family Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year category, Rachel Carter from Wollen Michelmore and Ann Thompson from Goodman Ray are also both members of Resolution.

Liz Edwards, Chair of Resolution said, “I would like to offer my congratulations to Rachel, Ann and Nadia. Being shortlisted for these awards is a fantastic recognition for the outstanding work they each do, within the increasingly challenging publicly funded sector. It is a testament to their dedication and commitment."

Entries were supported by testimonials from clients, medical and other experts, judges and campaigners.
