The Committee
Our committee is presently chaired by Dawn Harrison and comprises 14 elected members. We meet on the first Tuesday of every other month and normally hold our Annual General Meeting in November.
Our committee members come from all over Kent and reflect a range of practice sizes and all areas of family law. Many members are accredited specialists, trained mediators or qualified collaborative lawyers.
Members of the committee also sit on other committees such as the National Liaison Committee, the Kent Family Justice Council, Collaborative PODs and the various Court Users Groups across the Region.
Our aims
Our aim is to serve the Resolution members in our area, primarily though the provision of education. We normally organize 4 courses a year and aim to address topical areas of interest to all family practitioners.
We also organise social events from time to time, ranging from Black Tie dinners in Kent’s grandest locations to smaller, more informal, lunchtime gatherings.
Young Resolution
A Young Resolution group was launched November 2008. Check here for events or to become involved.
