Nancy Cameron Q.C. will speak on "The growing ADR community - adopting for culture, language and families around the globe".
The following workshops will be held:
Workshop A: Building an ADR practice - should we develop a different way of talking to clients? Gillian Bishop (England and Wales).
Workshop B: Putting children at the centre - helping parents to talk to their children about separation and divorce and supporting them whilst managing their own feelings: Christina McGhee (Texas, USA).
Workshop C: The power of the word – the importance of language and the use of metaphor in ADR practice: Elizabeth Tait (England and Wales); Patricia Mallon (Ireland).
Workshop D: The Team Approach – looking at the need for multidisciplinary work, the benefits it can bring and the different ways in which teams can address the specific needs of the client: Karen Ritchie (England and Wales); Sue Varty (England and Wales).
Workshop E: Dealing with impasse – looking at ways to deal with this huge stumbling block in the ADR process: James Pirrie (England and Wales); William Hogg (England and Wales).
Workshop F: Supporting ADR professionals – how important is supervision, mentoring or support to a professional working in ADR? Sarah Lloyd (England and Wales)
