David McHardy has been an active member of Resolution for many years, in that time he has been Chair of the Legal Aid Committee and was National Chair during 1989 and 1990 and editor of The Review.
He is collaboratively trained accredited and is also a mediator authorised to undertake MIAMS. David set up DM Family Mediation in 2011.
Since 1995 he has been appointed to sit as a Deputy District Judge in the Principal Registry of the Family Division (now Central Family Court) and also sits regularly as a Lieutenant Bailiff in Guernsey undertaking family work.
He has participated in the Accreditation scheme as an assessor since its inception, initially as an assessor in Domestic Abuse and Financial Provision but now in Advanced Financial Provision 1.
